AT 312 White, lime-cement render for machine application, OCR

For machine application of internal and external white plaster coatings of surface category III and compressive strength category CS I, on walls and ceilings, regardless of humidity inside rooms. Especially recommended for walls made of absorbing silicate components and cellular concrete without the need of priming or applying an initial scratch coat. Provides an excellent underlay for ceramic lining, decorative plaster, finish coat and paint. With its fungus-resistant properties, especially recommended for demanding sanitary areas. Recommended plaster coating thickness: between 10 and 25 mm. The plaster can also be applied by hand. Granularity up to 1.0 mm.

Instructions for use
Use available plaster units with a single mixing chamber to apply the plaster onto the entire area to be treated during one working cycle. After application, carefully remove excess plaster with H-type darby, patch holes if any, and trowel the entire surface with a darby. Leave surface treated that way for around 4-12 hours (depending on substrate absorption and weather conditions) until initial plaster setting takes place. The plaster should be set enough so that fresh plaster is not scraped but abraded with another pass of the darby. Smooth the entire area with a trapezoid floating rule again, spray the plaster with water and trowel with a Styrofoam float or, if hard enough, with a rough plastering sponge. To achieve fine structure, finish the plaster with the use of dry float with fine and soft sponge or felt. Use a power trowel to get an ideally smooth and even finish.

Substrate type
Walls made of bricks, ceramic and silicate blocks, cellular concrete blocks, as well as walls and ceilings made of prefabricated concrete components. Old, not weathered cement-lime plasterwork, ALPOL AT 303 underlay plaster.

Substrate preparation
The substrate must be clean, sound, dry and free from dust and greasy spots. Remove paint coats from old and durable plasters, patch irregularities and chipped plaster with ALPOL AZ 130 quick-setting mortar or ALPOL AZ 135 levelling mortar. Walls made of cellular concrete as well as of silicate bricks and blocks require neither priming nor an initial scratch coat. Before plaster application, moisten the walls with plenty of water. For other substrates, apply an initial scratch coat with ALPOL AT 303 underlay plaster or use ALPOL AG 702 primer. Surfaces exposed to scratching, e.g. adjacent structural material, corners of door/window openings etc., should be strengthened with 10 mm fibre-glass reinforcing mesh, by embedding it in ALPOL AZ 130 quick-setting mortar or ALPOL AZ 135 levelling mortar.

Tools
Plaster unit, power trowel, floats and darbies, trowel, bubble level, container for mortar.

Working conditions
Work in ambient temperatures between +5Ā°C and +25Ā°C. Do not add any other agents. Protect fresh plasterwork from excessive drying and moisture. Do not use electrical heaters (to avoid shrinkage cracks) or gas heaters (to avoid shrinkage and carbonisation process.)

Storage
Store in original, unopened packages in dry place ā€“ shelf life 12 months from production date. Protect from moisture during transport and storage.

Notes
The specifications and instructions for use are given for the temperature of (20Ā±2)Ā°C and relative air humidity of (65Ā±5)%. The workability may alter in different conditions. Irritating to eyes and respiratory system. Appropriate eye, respiratory system and skin protection measures should be used. Becomes alkaline after mixing with water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Keep away from children. Use water to remove fresh dirt or ALPOL AI 770 cleaner to remove hardened dirt. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage caused by unskilful or inappropriate use of the product.

General recommendations
Work according to building practice, observing health & safety standards and regulations.
